A product campaign built around sound: the car as the room, the speaker as the subject.
Concept, visual direction and 3D craft for a campaign where the car is the room and the speaker is the subject, with copy, production and retouching alongside.
Audi and Bang & Olufsen build their sound system into the cabin — normally a detail you never really look at. The idea turns that around: shoot the speaker grille and the car's acoustic geometry the way a product campaign shoots a product, and let the car become the room around it.

Front, side and rear key visuals share the same framing, light and retouching language, so the silhouette reads as one continuous study rather than three separate shots.

Surface geometry started in clay, refining panel lines and the speaker housing before any render or retouch, then carried through CG and compositing to the final frames.

The city behind the car isn't just a backdrop — its towers double as bars on a sound equalizer, rising and falling the way the Bang & Olufsen system reads the music. Same device as the hero scrub, rebuilt here in CSS.
Concept and visual direction for the key visuals, the sound-study and B&O system imagery, and the clay-to-final 3D craft, plus the hero scrub video — working alongside copywriters, producers and retouchers at VMLY&R.
